Fox Archives: Photographs of company parties and events dating back to 1918

Who doesn’t love a party? After all the holiday and New Year’s Eve parties, it seems fitting to share a few favorite photographs from the Archives’ “Company History: Events” collection.

This smaller collection dates back to 1918, and it contains photography of awards ceremonies, dignitaries’ lot visits, sales conventions, stockholders’ meetings, employee picnics, studio club events, sports tournaments, charity drives, dinners, luncheons, celebrations, etc.

The Fox Archives is mandated to collect, catalog, preserve and make accessible the following assets of the 20th Century Fox studios: props, set decoration, photographs, art department and publicity materials from our film and television productions, and from the 20th Century Fox studio itself. We work primarily with internal Fox groups but also from time to time with outside organizations such as the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and Chicago’s Museum of Science and Industry.
