21st Century Fox Names Jamie Gillespie Vice President, Government Relations

WASHINGTON, DC– May 9, 2017 – 21st Century Fox today announced that Jamie Gillespie has been named to the role of vice president. Mr. Gillespie will join the company’s Global Public Affairs and Policy group based in Washington, DC on June 5, 2017, which is led by Executive Vice President Chip Smith.

Mr. Gillespie joins 21st Century Fox Washington DC office from the National Association of Broadcasters. He, along with Kristopher Jones, will report to Senior Vice President Kathleen Ramsey, who leads the company’s advocacy efforts before Congress and the administration.

During his decade at the National Association of Broadcasters, Mr. Gillespie helped shape many of the most pivotal public policy debates impacting the television industry, including retransmission consent, satellite carriage laws, and copyright protection issues.

Prior to joining NAB, Mr. Gillespie served as an aide to Senators Daniel Inouye (D-HI) and Ernest F. Hollings (D-SC). He is a graduate of The University of South Carolina and lives in Bethesda with his wife and daughter.
