Los Angeles, CA – January 27, 2016 – Ruth Anne Herman has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Human Resources, for Fox Networks Group (FNG), it was announced today by FNG Executive Vice President and General Counsel Rita Tuzon.
In her expanded role, Ms. Herman will have worldwide oversight of all aspects of Human Resources for FNG’s portfolio of businesses, including Fox Broadcasting Company, FX Networks, Fox Sports Media Group and the newly formed National Geographic Partners. Newly added to her responsibilities will be HR functions for FNG Europe, FNG Asia and FNG Latin America.

Ms. Herman most recently served as Senior Vice President, Human Resources for FNG, where she launched the Fox Apprentice Program and oversaw all HR functions during such company milestones as the formation of Fox Sports 1, the integration of YES Network, the acquisition of true[X] and the formation of National Geographic Partners. Prior to joining Fox, Ms. Herman spent 12 years as in-house counsel at both Warner Bros. and Warner Records. She was previously an attorney at Thelen, Reid & Priest LLP where she was responsible for general commercial litigation, class actions and employment related matters.
Ms. Herman graduated cum laude from the University of Southern California with a bachelor’s degree in journalism. She subsequently obtained her J.D. (cum laude) from New York Law School.
